Tunisia
is a very old land, going diagonally from the north by a chain of
mountains from the Atlas, which extend in an uninterrupted sequence
from small hills and gentle slopes. These mountains are rich in
thermal resources, having been used by the Roman emperors and some
were known in all of the Mediterranean for their extraordinary therapeutic
effect and their waters of the boiling mud. We have selected for
you three ancient establishments of which the waters were exploited
and considered like thermals well before the Roman Empire.
